The international conference takes place from May 25th – 27th and focuses on the ethics and aesthetics of representing poverty and precarity across the postcolonial world. It draws on thematic foci from (New) English Literatures and Cultures, Linguistics and TEFL, and thus aims not only at furthering academic exchange and dialogue among junior and senior researchers from different regions but also across a broad range of academic backgrounds.
